Since 1996, we’ve been offering unforgettable diving excursions and professional SSI-certified courses in the south of Tenerife. Our dive center is perfectly situated at Torviscas Beach in Costa Adeje—just minutes from Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos, and Fañabé. Within 30 minutes by minibus, jeep, or boat, you can explore some of the island’s most stunning underwater locations.
To ensure both safety and enjoyment, we limit our trips to a maximum of two dives per day, always in small groups. A third dive or night dive can be arranged upon request. Every dive, excursion, and course is led by one of our experienced instructors who are committed to making your underwater experience exceptional.
Tenerife’s dive sites, ranging from 6 to 40 meters deep, are conveniently located near the coastline—making most of them easily accessible from land. Just a bit further offshore, the seabed drops dramatically to depths of over 3,000 meters. For experienced divers, our boat trips to the rays’ site and other deeper locations offer an unforgettable challenge.
If you’re a certified diver who hasn’t been in the water for a while or lacks experience, we usually start with an easy dive at around 12 meters depth—perfect for regaining confidence while enjoying Tenerife’s volcanic underwater world and abundant fish life. Further dive sites can be arranged together on short notice, based on your preferences.
Tenerife is known for its unique volcanic seascapes, including overhangs, tunnels, caves, and grottos. These natural features create ideal habitats for a wide variety of marine species.

Founded in 1996 by German diving instructor Gerhard Kaufmann, Dive Club Costa Adeje is located in the sunny south of Tenerife. Gerhard, who still dives regularly, runs the center together with his Spanish wife, Gema Cebolla Madrigal.
From the start, strong ties to the island and its people have shaped the spirit of the center. More than just a commercial diving school, Ocean Trek also serves as a registered association—welcoming divers from around the world as well as locals from Tenerife.
Over the years, the club has become a vibrant international meeting point where beginners and professionals connect to dive, share experiences, and enjoy a warm, family-like atmosphere.
We believe in relaxed, unhurried diving—usually limiting our trips to two dives a day for maximum enjoyment and personal attention. A wide range of modern, well-maintained equipment is available for you to put together according to your own preferences.
