SSI Divemaster Program – Your First Step into the Professional World of Diving

The SSI Divemaster program marks the beginning of your professional diving career. In close collaboration with one of our experienced instructors, you’ll deepen your theoretical knowledge and refine your practical skills to meet professional standards.

What You Will Learn

Throughout the course, you’ll develop the leadership skills needed to supervise dive activities and assist instructors in training student divers. The program includes both classroom sessions and self-study, giving you a well-rounded understanding of dive theory, safety, and group management.

You’ll complete a variety of water skills assessments, endurance exercises, and practical training tasks that test your organizational ability, problem-solving skills, and confidence as a dive leader. These are reinforced through either an internship-style experience or structured training simulations.

To earn your SSI Divemaster certification, you’ll need to log a minimum of 60 dives by the end of the course. The curriculum covers 12 core topics, ranging from advanced dive theory to assisting instructors in real-world training scenarios with student divers.
