Learn to Dive – Step by Step, at Your Pace
We keep our courses personal and effective by teaching in very small groups—with a maximum of two students per instructor. This ensures you receive individual attention and guidance at every stage.
You’ll begin in confined water, such as a pool or a sheltered bay, where you’ll practice essential skills in a safe and calm environment. From there, you’ll progress to open water dives, applying what you’ve learned while exploring Tenerife’s fascinating volcanic seascape and diverse marine life—including fish, rays, turtles, and more.
What’s Included
The SSI Open Water Diver course typically takes 2 to 3 days and includes:
- A comprehensive theory component (in-person or online)
- Skill training in shallow water or pool (weather dependent)
- 4 open water dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters
- A final theory exam
