Wall Diving with Turtles and More
Located about 30 km from our dive center, the small coastal town of El Porís offers a relaxed and scenic dive site that we reach by car in just 25 minutes. After parking directly at the water’s edge, we enter the sea easily via a staircase leading to a semi-submerged platform.
The dive begins at around 5 meters, where a seagrass meadow stretches across the seabed. This area attracts shoals of fish, gurnards, and regularly turtles, which come here to feed—offering ideal conditions for relaxed observation.
From the meadow, we continue to descend gently to a maximum depth of about 22 meters, where a striking steep wall awaits. Along the way, we pass small caves that often shelter octopuses and moray eels. With a bit of luck, you might also spot barracudas or swirling sardine schools in the blue.
El Porís is a versatile site that combines accessible entry, rich marine life, and dramatic volcanic formations—perfect for divers who enjoy variety and scenic depth transitions.
