Often referred to as Mar Azul, after the nearby resort, the Valito dive site is a peaceful and somewhat hidden bay with a unique history. In earlier times, local farmers used the former landing ramp here to bring in agricultural goods by boat.
Today, this secluded site offers a quiet escape and flexible dive options. We reach it via a dirt road, making it feel like a little adventure even before entering the water.
The bay itself is small but versatile: depending on the direction and depth you choose, it’s possible to make multiple dives here, each with a different route and focus. Whether staying shallow or exploring deeper areas, the volcanic underwater landscape reveals plenty of detail and natural formations.
