Steep Wall, Rays & a Hidden Anchor
Located just 10 km from our dive center, the Playa Paraíso Anker site offers a varied dive with interesting formations and marine life. Entry is possible either from the beach or a ladder platform, making access easy and flexible.
We begin the dive over a shallow reef at around 6 meters, already teeming with reef fish. As we continue, we reach a ledge that drops sharply—allowing for a thrilling free descent along a steep wall down to about 22 meters.
Here, large schools of fish await, and rays are often spotted cruising along the edge. A highlight of the dive is a massive old anchor, resting partially hidden beneath a rock overhang—a popular photo spot for wreck and history fans alike.
On the return, we circle around the reef and pass by small caves, lava overhangs, and curious volcanic formations—some resembling giant stone mushrooms. Playa Paraíso Anker offers a rich, engaging dive suitable for both intermediate and advanced divers.
